Primrose Retro Toilet & Sink Suite with Fish / Nautical Motif

This retro bathroom set features a low level toilet and basin with pedestal in a two tone primrose and white colour. The outside of the sink, toilet pan and cistern are in primrose, whilst the inside of the basin, toilet pan and cistern lid are white with marvellous fish motifs. Both the toilet and sink are made by Johnson Brothers, also known as Trent Ware of Stoke on Trent, England. The toilet is part of the Swanlyne range made by Johnson Bros which was a high end model first produced in the 1950s. The basin is stamped as the ‘Cygnet’ model and has a recessed soap dish on the right hand side and an angled mixer tap on the left side. Vintage hot and cold taps can also be used as an alternative to the mixer.

The toilet cistern features the original chrome handle which is stamped ‘Goslett’, meaning this suite would originally have been supplied by Goslett’s plumbers merchant of North Kensington, London. The cistern is also supplied with the original chrome flush pipe and brand new internal fittings.

This suite is in very good condition, the toilet pan does have some damage such as a hairline crack around the inlet and some small chips around the base of the pan. These can be repaired at an extra cost. There is also a very small chip on top of the basin pedestal.
