Condition & Authentic Patina

As a genuine 125-year-old fixture, this basin carries the character of its long history. It has been thoroughly tested for modern functionality:

• Water Tested: Despite showing some age-related signs, the basin has been professionally water-tested and is confirmed to be non-porous and fully watertight.

• Historic Marks: The item is sold as seen with some slight crazing and a few chips to the tap holes. There is a slight historical crack on the underside and inside of the bowl; however, it does not leak and is structurally stable.

• Restoration Potential: This basin can be installed “as is” for a distressed, authentic look or can be professionally restored at a small additional cost to revitalise the glaze.
