Antique Doulton & Co Basin with Gold Leaf Edges C.1900

Large antique basin made by Doulton & Co sanitary engineers. This basin has a very rare gold leaf rim around the edges of it and has 2 tap holes suitable for vintage or modern taps. The basin is wall mounted and sits on two primed cast iron brackets which are supplied within the sale of this item. Sold as seen with some slight crazing, a couple of chips to both tap holes and a slight historic crack underneath and inside the basin. It has been water tested and is not porous and the cracks do not leak, can be installed as is or restored at a small cost.

Suitable vintage taps can be supplied at an extra cost.
