Ideal Standard / “Standard” close coupled toilet pan and cistern in Sky Blue. This toilet is part of the Lincoln range, a compact and space saving toilet designed and made in the 1960s and which came in either the washdown variant or double trap syphonic, with this one being the syphonic version. Double trap syphonic toilets are no longer produced but were a very innovative design, having a vacuum system fitted or built into the ceramic to create a quiet and efficient flush. Would make a good installation if you are restoring a mid century home and want original coloured sanitaryware or if you are looking to replace a broken Ideal Standard close coupled toilet in Sky Blue. This WC is new old stock so has never been used and is in immaculate condition. Ideal Standard were known for their high quality sanitaryware, being one of the first in the world to produce non porous vitreous china bathroom fittings.
Internal fittings such as the original ceramic syphon with built in aspirator system, overflow, chrome handle and right hand bottom inlet fill valve are included in the sale.
