Mid century, very rare Howsons Hollywood basin in a 2 tone black and white colour. This basin is dated from the 1960s with 2 tap holes and is in very good condition overall. Black and white sanitaryware was popular in the 1930s when sanitaryware makers such as Edward Johns (later Armitage Ware) began experimenting with colours on their products. Black and white sanitaryware became less desirable in the 1950s and Howsons were the only makers to produce black and white items well into the 1960s.
Basin is sold as seen, delivery available.
